June, 2025 | Riverside Park in the heart of downtown Salida, CO. Nestled along the Arkansas River, Riverside Park provides an ideal setting for this small-town celebration. Though the venue change was prompted by conservation easement
requirements, the City of Salida has embraced the festival with open arms setting the stage for deeper community impact and greater accessibility for attendees.

Smalltown For The Cause remains grounded in its mission to foster music, movement, and meaningful connection—all while giving back to local causes. The festival continues to be a platform for grassroots impact, family-friendly experiences, and deep community spirit.

New – Campout is thrilled to announce that Elephant Revival will add Friday night and headline both Friday and Saturday nights. Yoga in the park remains a core part of the experience, with classes and workshops taking place at Riverside park and the South Ark Neighborhood Camping Area. For those looking to stay close, camping is available at South Ark Neighborhood, just 1 mile from the venue along the Little Arkansas River, an easy 8-minute bike ride. The camping area will feature a well-equipped Center Camp with restrooms, security, free water, daily yoga classes, and more. There will also be a free shuttle running to and from the venue. Salida offers a variety of local lodging options, from funky motels, to custom homes in all price points.
Salida offers easy access to a number of activities that attendees can enjoy, including surfing the Scout Wave just behind the stage, biking or hiking Salida’s epic trails directly from the park or enjoying the local cafes, restaurants and shops.

In 2009, Campout for the Cause was created in part to support The Central America Foundation, and All Hands Volunteers in response to the devastating 2010 earthquake.
